HTTP status 409

An update to a document that can no longer be changed in place: a purchase order that is closed, void or a master order. 409.

The detail names the document's status and what to do instead. Nothing is written.

The API answers with a problem document (RFC 9457) whose type is https://twinn.engineering/errors/document-posted, and with X-Error-Code: DOCUMENT_POSTED. Branch on the code, never on the detail text.
