How it’s calculated
The same notes Twinn shows beside the report, so anyone reading it knows what the numbers include.
- The period is the invoices' posting year and period range (and/or an invoice date range).
- Invoice Total = Non-Taxable + Taxable + Sales Tax on every invoice.
- Group by Job city or Job User Def1 for business-license style reports by municipality. Show = Totals gives one line per tax district, job city and User Def1 combination, so every Group by still subtotals correctly.
- Tax at District Rate is Taxable × the district's current total rate, to spot invoices whose tax was overridden or billed at an old rate.
