How it’s calculated
The same notes Twinn shows beside the report, so anyone reading it knows what the numbers include.
- AR Retention = what the client still holds back from us; AP Retention = what we still hold back from vendors and subcontractors on the job.
- Net Retention = AR Retention − AP Retention: positive means more retention is owed to us than we owe out.
- Show = By job and party lists the client line and each vendor with retention; Group by = Job (or Client, then job) subtotals each job.
- Only jobs with retention on either side are listed. Balances are current balances.
