Its own permission

This report shows payroll or personal details, so it sits behind a separate permission. Only the people you allow can run it, and Ask Twinn can only run it for them.

How it’s calculated

The same notes Twinn shows beside the report, so anyone reading it knows what the numbers include.

  • Columns are built from the company's own payroll calculations. The workbook this comes from hard-codes one company's calculation numbers (FIT = 3, Medicare = 2, 401K = 16 + 17, ...).
  • Each row reconciles: Gross Pay - the deduction columns - Other Deductions + Additions = Net Pay. Other Deductions is whatever part of Sage's deduction total isn't in the calculation detail (normally 0).
  • Tick 'Include employer-paid calculations' to add employer taxes, match and workers' comp as 'ER' columns after Net Pay. They aren't part of the check.
  • Payroll types: blank = all, or a comma list of type numbers (e.g. 1,2,6), matching the workbook's checkboxes.
